UPDATE 11.10.08

It is obvious, the casino industry both in the United States and abroad including Macau, the Chinese enclave, where many of the U.S. casino operators own and operate casinos, are in deep financial troubles.  All one has to do is look at the stock prices of the leading casino operators. From the high $150/$200 to less than $10.00 per share and all this in the last six (6) months.

Can Kenilworth benefit from this crisis?

Gambling is part of human nature and goes on whether you can afford it or not.  Our Roulabette™ System for Remote Wagering On Casino Table Games may offer Kenilworth, for the first time, the opportunity for the casino industry to join us rather than continue to fight us, as in the past.

The state operated lotteries and the Video Lottery Terminals (VLTs) located at horse/dog racetracks are continuing to prosper.  A new installation of VLTs at the New York City Aqueduct horse race track had spirited competitive bidding to operate four thousand five hundred (4,500) VLTs in the track’s grandstand.  The successful bidder, Delaware North Companies, Inc. agreed to add a three hundred (300) room hotel, a spa, a shopping arcade, several restaurants on the track grounds and paid $370,000,000 as the initial payment to the New York State Treasury.

New York Governor David Paterson stated he will form a commission after January 1, 2009 to study the possibility to lease the New York State Lottery for $200,000,000 annual lease payment and a substantial up front payment to close the state budget gap for fiscal 2010, which starts on July 1, 2009.

There are eleven (11) additional State Governors that have proposed similar leases or sales to private operators.  We own the patents to allow the lotteries to offer Roulabette™ and manage the deposits and pay out the winnings from Roulabette™ wagering. Prospective operators may wish to offer Roulabette™ to lottery players as entertainment, with wagering starting at $0.25 cents.

We also own the patents for Multi-Use Gaming Machines which allow VLTs to also offer the live action of Roulabette™.  An alternative for slot players who may wish to play along with a real, live action casino table game rather than virtual, make-believe games.

Our unique position in the casino gambling world makes Kenilworth a desirable partner for any organization that wishes to participate in Roulabette™ wagering using laptops at home, in coffee houses, hotel room TVs, restaurants, bars, resorts, horse, dog and auto racetracks and other public gathering places.

We have made proposals to individuals and corporations both in the Untied States and abroad to finance Roulabette™ and increase Kenilworth’s awareness.  At this time, we cannot offer any assurances that our efforts will have any meaningful results.
